we can go to hardwick hall.

This amazing house was built by Bess of Hardwick, the second most powerful woman in Elizabethan England after the Queen. It also used an uncommon amount of glass for the time, hence the rhyme: Hardwick Hall, more window than wall. It was also featured on the BBC show Britain's Best Buildings and has one of Europe's finest collections of tapestries/textiles.http://nttreasurehunt.wordpress.com/category/hardwick-hall/

we can watch great historical dramas and comic relief on bbc.
Can you imagine a major American network airing a spoof show this sophisticated, much less a show like Downton Abbey airing? We can watch programming like this, along with some truly amazing trash TV, all the time.

we should brush up on our u english
'Noblesse Oblige' captures most of the class differences (available on amazon) in British English. Although slightly dated, we should still brush up on proper terminology.
For example:
'knave' over 'jack' for playing cards
'scent' over 'perfume'
'loo' over 'toilet'
'rich' over 'wealthy'
'what' over 'pardon'
'good health' over 'cheers'
